The personal accomplishment I am most proud of having achieved is that I am officially a contestant of Miss Vietnam TET Pageant of Northern California of 1997.

What person would you most like to meet? (Describe in detail why)
The person I would like to meet is Ms. Kieu Chinh. She is a renowned movie star internationally. I have heard of her talent in acting when I was just a kid. I admire her work as a person. She has shown and proved to the world that Vietnamese women are capable of doing what other nation's women can do. To me she is truly a remarkable person to meet.

What do you believe is the biggest obstacle you have been faced with in your life and how did it affect or change you?
I believe that the biggest obstacle I have faced with in my life is English. I started to learn English as a second language five years ago. Although my English is improving, I cannot speak as well as a native speaker. However, I truly believe that if I set my mind to surpass this obstacle I will succeed.

If you were crowned MISS AO DAI, what will you do to help Vietnamese Community or others?
If I were crowned MISS AO DAI, here are the following "do's" that I wish to accomplish to help Vietnamese community and others. With Pageant Committee's approval, I will be honored to represent Vietnamese community to participate in all social events such as fighting for the human rights, especially in Vietnam. I will also symbolize the beauty and talent of Miss Vietnam in all of the local and city parades, and to compete with other nations' beauty pageant to voice our existence. For other communities, I will try my best to find solutions to help under-represented communities by communicating with their local leaders, representatives, and spokespersons. In addition, I will share Vietnamese people's accomplishments and successes to other communities to acknowledge them that we can make a difference within the community as a whole.
